Mommy says it costs $750.

but i really like to look at it. I looked at it this morning again before breakfast.

But Mommy says "Nope you can't have that it's too expensive. So I shook my head and my finger said "nope I can't have that" I like the jeep also, which Mommy says is $9,900, but I'm not getting that either.

Mommy and me date night

Tonight mommy and me went out to dinner. I don't have photos to prove it, but we did.

We went to Apollo Grille. I started eating mommy's chicken, but then decided my spaghetti was the greatest thing ever. It's only good when you eat with your fingers though and rub it on your face! I liked the meatball, but the noodles were better.

I liked the way the olive looked, so mommy took the seed out. I ate one bite, then the second gave me the shivers and i had to take it out.

Mommy had lemonade with lots of Ice. I said ice, and mommy got a piece and let me lick it. That was really fun. it was cold though.

They have a water fountain, and I got to through three coins in. One for me, one for mommy and one for Daddy. IT WAS FUN.

Chili

Today Daddy left for Santiago, Chili. I was sad he left, but he wrote a text message from Atlanta. And I said "Chili" like three times, when momma read it out loud to me.
"Chi-lay"!
Kids just are not pets though. They don't do tricks on command! So when Mommy wanted to film me saying Chili, i just refused!

Momma tried to get me to say Chili, but instead i rolled around on the ground. Then I wanted to play with the train and then I wanted to watch my video. Tonight I watched the whole thing, because I got to sit on Derby. I sat, laid on him, laid on my belly, stood with my belly on the side of the couch....

Mommmy... stop taking pictures of me watching TV. The light bothers my eyes!

Train Day

Here's Max and Daddy watching the train go by.

Ah the Christmas Train... last year our living room was huge and could accommodate a rather large train design. This year, we're a little limited on size.

We're teaching Max "just looking".
He wants to pick the trains up. At first we we're letting Max put his cars on one of the trains.

We've decided he can open and close the door on the freight train, when we stop the train. But other than that, the train is just for looking.
Max is also allowed to push the bell and whistle buttons.

L is for Lint

this morning i decided the letter of the day would be L... letter, little, love, and so on... well our "L" day was complete after our nap.

Max laid down for a nap. I wasn't feeling well so i laid down as well. I woke up to Max calling "momma". Then everything was quiet. I went into Max's room to find he had removed both of his socks. He was sitting in his crib making the noise for "dirt", or "poop". I asked him if he went poopie and he started playing with his toes. I watched as he pulled lint from his toes and put it back and checked all of toes for lint, over and over again.

We went downstairs and he continued his search or lint.

"L" is lovely lint in my little toes.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving. One of the greatest days of the year.
What do Parents do on Thanksgiving when they don't have to cook the turkey?
Torture their children!

"T" is for torture! Turkey, Thanksgiving... yada yada yada!
We lounged around the house in out PJs this morning. Until Mommie got bored and dress me up as a pilgrim and an Indian.

Thank you for the Raisins and Plastic Silverware Whiteman.

Thank you for thousands and millions of varieties of Potatoes and Corn, your land, your horses... and....

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Need I say more?

Captain No Breeches

Hey my name is Captain No Breeches. I like to run around the house with no pants on! Grandma got me this pirate hat and I like to try it on and then fling it off my head! Daddy put it on my head several times and threw my head back a bunch, until it fell off. (mommy took video, but it's sideways).

It's really fun when daddy is home. This morning Daddy woke up with me and built me a racetrack out of blocks in the middle of the kitchen. But it was more fun to run over the blocks with my airplane than to actually go through the middle of the track.

Last night we got all my hot wheels out and had raced them all to see which one fastest. I can't remember which one won in the end.

Today the letter of the day is G for gloat... I think because my daddy was talking to Grandpa on the phone and gloating. But I don't really know what that means.

Since when did cute noises become Commands?

So, I got a free video from "Little People" a toy that Max likes a lot. There are 5 mini movies on the CD. We started watching and the first one is about a car race... Max made me watch it over and over again 10 times... the funny thing is he makes this little bmmmm, bmmmm, noise for a car. In the movie, the little people all end the car race to help the leader of the pack find his pet frog. By the 5th time, Max was ordering me in this (what used to be cute) little bmmm bmmm bmmm noise to restart the video. The second they get out the car, he wanted to watch the part where they race and he can see the cars. It was hysterical.

Now his car noise is a command, like when he comes to the stairs and skretches "MOMMMA"!!!

He's such a little boy, it's crazy!

Exciting drawings

Friday's letter of the day was "B"... we drew a lot of pictures for Max. But the most exciting thing was that Idrew a "balloon with a basket", over on the right of the drawing. Max then went over and drew circles around my balloon and drew straight stratch marks at the bottom, for a basket. It was really cool.

Friday was also pretty funny because he has learned to run to the stairs when he hears my voice and starting yelling "Momma", "Mom". typing it out just doesn't do it justice. He really hollars it like it's an accusation of some sort. I asked my client "can you hear that?" he said "oh, yeah, it's cute though." I was like "Really? Is it really?"

Max was very productive on Friday. He said Boo! a lot. Yesterday, Max decided not to take a nap he played and sang, and rolled around in his crib for over an hour.

Daddy is home friday at 4pm until tomorrow (monday) am. so, daddy is hanging out with Max today in the afternoon. This morning he made breakfast and did dishes. while he made breakfast and did dishes max played el toro. i made a video, but am not sure i can post it... let me know if it works. He loves running back and forth under the drying towel. It's really soft. Go little Bull. Go.

M is for Mommy

This morning, I, Mommy, decided it was time for M to be the letter of day! "M" for Mommy! Well, Ms are sort of hard... M is for magenta. I have magenta marker all over my face from Max swinging the marker around and hitting me as I sat behind him. hmmm. Magenta huh? Monkey, Money, moo, more, mango...

Each Day, Rosemary has decided the letter has a cleaning product... M is for mop. D was dirt devil...

This is a photo of Max using Derby as a chair for his table and toys the other day.

Max threw a dog treat to Derby and it went under the fridge. Derby growled and barked at the fridge for 5 minutes before I figured out what happened.

Max thought this was really funny, so he put two more under there... which i had to go fish out with a knife and tongs!

M is for "Many" treats under the fridge!

New Train Parts

We also got new parts for a train last night. We went to Toys-R-Us and played with the trains there. We lost track of time. Mike called at about 8:00 and asked "What's that noise?" I told him we were at Toys-r-us and Max was pushing the lawnmower with the popping balls. Mike asks "At 8:00pm?" Whoops. Daddy's right. It's time to go home!

We set our new train this morning... a mine shaft and a railroad crossing that makes noise. Max loves pushing his cars over the bridge and the trains on the track.

Letter of the day

Last week was Halloween. Max's Grandma Linda was visiting. While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting Max had big breakthroughs on talking. He said all kinds of things last week - Ice, pizza, Grandma, Linda, Bike and Nana.

Grandma Linda does this cute little thing with Max, where they have a letter of the day. So, Mommie started doing it also this week. Yesterday's letter was "D" and Max said
dog and Dirt devil, as he ran around the house with his little broom. How funny that he choose to run through the house, almost all day, saying "dirt devil, dirt devil" (should I put a trademark there?)

Today the letter of the day was "P". I said "P" with a big puff of wind which blew his bangs to sides of his face... then Max said "P" with a puff of air. It was beautiful thing. He also said "Pa Pa", and "Purple" this morning. (I think we'll learn pee pee and pooh pooh also :) It's just so wonderful to hear him start to express himself.

I like this letter of the day thing!
