Happy Birthday Max!

2008 - Today is Max's Birthday. He is now two! We opened some presents from Grandma Janie and Grandpa Don. Cars, and gloves, and cookies... more cars.

Max soon learned he wanted cars, cars, cars. Every package he started to open he wold say "bmm bbbmmmm bmmm" for car. Tonight we'll sing Happy Birthday and open the rest of our presents!

Rosemary brought some presents that Max opened - books, more cars, more books. Thank you Rosemary!

Last night Max opened presents from Chris and Carolyn, while Chris was visiting. First thing Max did this morning was play his musical card over and over again. He also wanted to read all about Maxs the Clown fish and Elmo's doctors visit. Good Book. Thank you.

Max's Birthday Party

On Saturday we had a Birthday Party for the two Year old.

First he came downstairs to find a brand new shiny race car - Lightening McQueen from Gramma Linda and Grampa Dan! Oh boy...

Every chance he gets, he hops into it.
Thank you.

We covered the table with paper and people colored on the table. This was fun!

Elmo came to visit and brought Max a present.

Too Bad Daddy had to run an errand and missed Elmo!

Big kisses for Elmo!

We had a Pinata. Boy that was fun! all the kids got prizes, even the little ones.

We took wagon rides in the front yard. That was cool too!

At the end of the day Max took a long nap, then returned to ride his car. But this time we took it outside where Daddy and Grampa Dan helped Max Steer his car all over the driveway!
Max's is having a great week... with great play time with his brother.  He has been telling everybody about his Birthday coming up and telling me all about his friends who are attending the celebration.  Can't believe my little guy is turning 8!

Here's max and daddy watching the train go by.
We're working on teaching max "just looking"
He wants to pick the trains up. We've decided he can open and close the door on the freight train, when we stop the train, but other than that, it's hands off. #maxismyhero
