Max's Birthday Party

On Saturday we had a Birthday Party for the two Year old.

First he came downstairs to find a brand new shiny race car - Lightening McQueen from Gramma Linda and Grampa Dan! Oh boy...

Every chance he gets, he hops into it.

We covered the table with paper and people colored on the table. This was fun!

Elmo came to visit and brought Max a present.

Too Bad Daddy had to run an errand and missed Elmo!

We had a Pinata. Boy that was fun! all the kids got prizes, even the little ones.

We took wagon rides in the front yard. That was cool too!

At the end of the day Max took a long nap, then returned to ride his car. But this time we took it outside where Daddy and Grampa Dan helped Max Steer his car all over the driveway!

Max's is having a great week... with great play time with his brother.  He has been telling everybody about his Birthday coming up and telling me all about his friends who are attending the celebration.  Can't believe my little guy is turning 8!

He wants to pick the trains up. We've decided he can open and close the door on the freight train, when we stop the train, but other than that, it's hands off. #maxismyhero

First Day of school 2014

2014!!!
Max's first day of third grade arrived. He's in the big boy pod and he gets to ride the school bus. Wow! He has a new teacher, who seemed nice.  She was pleased to receive a first day giftie of treats and chocolates.

Harry's First day of Kinder.  He's ready.  So smart, funny and brave. 

I saw so many parents with chalk signs.  I wasn't that well prepared... they got their names on the iPad!

I was excited for them to open their lunch boxes and see their sandwich notes.  Alas, neither actually ate their sandwich. 

Both had wonderful and successful days.  We ended with a swim date and an early bedtime.

Today, Max almost spelled Harry's Name. I think he's starting to spell. I'm sooo excited.

most of the time, they are really starting to understand... this is my best friend to play with!

Tomorrow is my first day at JCC

I can't wait. they have a pool. trains. cars. lots of things to do. i'm going to take it easy and start half days M-W-F. Yippie friends my own age to play with ad learn with!

Oh My, I'm getting sooo big! It's been a long time since we've updated this site. I am getting sooo big! I pee standing up, I pee off Daddy's Balcony, I pee in the mulch instead of the pool. Pee Pee Pee, That's me!

I run fast, I laugh hard, I still love cars. I love visitors. I love swimming in the pool with Daddy and am starting to get used to the Water again. I love going to the beach with Ms. Jackie and meeting Wren and Mia there.

I love my little brother. I kiss his boo boos when he gets hurt. I share my toys. and I like waking him up from nap time, when he calls me.
